On 12 October Pure AV will take over Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse for the Pure AV Laser Showcase. View more than 15 models from 6 leading projector brands as we take a closer look at what laser projection has to offer.
A keynote presentation by consultant and image standards expert Greg Jeffreys of Visual Displays Ltd will set the scene before delegates are invited to join a blind evaluation of projectors from the ranges of leading manufacturers Canon, Christie, Epson, NEC, Panasonic and Sony.As Rick Lister, technical director at Pure AV, explains, “The event started as an internal exercise, an occasion for our technical team to evaluate a range of different laser products. It’s not often that you get the opportunity to see and assess multiple projectors side-by-side in this way anymore. And as we discussed activity like the blind shoot- out we realised this was something that would also interest our customers.”
As Erica Whittle, marketing manager at Pure AV, further explains, “There is growing interest in laser projection, the range of available options are increasing and our customers are telling us they want to know more about what the technology has to offer. The event is a response to those demands and the addition of a blind shoot-out brings additional excitement into the day whilst providing some relevant and valid intelligence for those looking to invest in laser projection.”Delegates can also view additional units from the participating vendors’ ranges as well as meet and discuss future road map developments with manufacturers in a mini exhibition area. There will be a buffet lunch provided, a prize draw, and for those who want to participate in some post-event networking there is the option of a meal out at a nearby Manchester restaurant. The event is free to attend and anyone involved with bringing display solutions into their business or institution and considering laser projection should find the day of interest.
