Preston-based Ipsum Group has acquired Euro Environmental Utilities Group Ltd in a deal which will double its turnover and headcount.
The purchase, completed for an undisclosed sum, includes EEG’s Scotland, North of England and Midlands-based operations but excludes its Andover-based South of England operations.
It takes Ipsum's revenues from £25m to £54m, and sees its workforce grow from 200 to approximately 400 staff.
