Introduction to EZ Hampers

By EZ Hampers

12 Oct 2022

Lisa started EZ Hampers at the start of 2021 with a simple idea: let's make hampers sustainable.

Lisa worked in the social care sector for almost three decades before deciding that she would start her own company. Erin joined at the end of 2021 with two degrees in History and Gabby joined shortly after in 2022 Gabby with a BSc in Psychology.

We are a family-run business and through our background in nursing and the medical profession, and we understand that as we emerge from the pandemic, we need to look after each other and show we care for each other. Like most modern families, ours includes members with a range of food allergies and personal choices, such as vegan and vegetarian and we understand how hard it can be to be fully accommodating and inclusive.

We want to reinforce the message of sustainability through our products and hampers. We try to source from local and sustainable brands to ensure we are reducing our carbon footprint. Not only this but we make our own candles using things like coffee cans and empty alcohol bottles.

Our hampers are bespoke, so you tell us what the recipient of the amazing gift, likes and dislikes and we will do the rest. We also have a wide variety on our website: www.ezhampers.co.uk

Through our selection of food preferences, we are breaking the myth and proving that vegan, vegetarian food and drink can be tastier than traditional snacks and treats. We have a large selection of Wines, Beers, Spirits from the traditional Whiskeys to reserve one, Gins, Vodkas, Cognacs, Rums and non-alcoholic drinks.

Our mission is to make zero-waste gift-giving accessible to everyone. We believe that every company should feel responsible for the impact of their products and packaging. Change doesn’t happen overnight, so we’ve set out a clear path that will see our company being 100% plastic free by 2023.

That’s why we offer biodegradable packaging, reusable hampers, and products that are ethically sourced. We design and create beautiful, thoughtful and sustainable hampers. We aim to to be the gift that minimises as much waste as possible. We will continue to strive to make our output of products as environmentally friendly as possible.

EZHampers believes in giving with intent, and that sustainable practices and ethical sourcing can be integrated into any business, small or large.

We have been fortunate to win five awards this year and nominated for another four, this is due to the hard work and dedication of the team. We are B Corp Certified pending which are very proud of.
