Kirkham-based Inspired Energy has published improved financial results for the first six months of 2019.
The company increased revenues by 33 per cent and pre-tax profit by 55 per cent over the same period in 2018.
The corporate division posted record revenues of £18.68m, contributing to a total income of £21.56m. Profit before tax was £3.23m.
Inspired Energy's corporate order book increased to £55.4m in the period (compared to £53m in the last six months of 2018), reporting strong customer retention and robust performance from significant new customer wins.
The results don't yet take into account the addition of Ignite Energy, which Inspired bought into this August, after the reporting period.
Mark Dickinson, CEO of Inspired, said: "Concluding 2018 with the Inprova acquisition was a significant strategic milestone for the Group. 2019 has continued at pace with the acceleration of our next growth phase, further complementary and value-enhancing acquisitions completed in parallel with sustained organic growth.
“The group is well placed to deliver another set of record results as we continue to benefit from further organic growth and the net contribution of recent acquisitions."
