AIM-listed Inspired Energy has received London Stock Exchange's Green Economy Mark in recognition of its environmental and strategic advice, service and support to customers.
The Kirkham-based energy procurement consultant earned the mark on deriving more than 50 per cent of its revenues from goods and services contributing to the green economy.
Mark Dickinson, CEO of Inspired, said: "Energy is one of the highest cost components in the environmental, social and corporate governance wheel and one of the most data intensive elements of the climate change segment.
"As an ESG solutions provider it is important that we continue to lead by example in regard to best practice and reporting in order to remain at the forefront of energy and sustainability solutions in a Net Zero Carbon future."
Inspired Energy provides its services to more than 2,400 UK corporate business consumers, which represents around 6.7 per cent of the UK’s expenditure on electricity.
