Kirkham-based leading energy procurement consultancy Inspired Energy continues to deliver on its ambitious growth strategy, according to its latest trading update.
The business says it expects to report year end results in line with market expectations, which were revised upwards during 2016.Inspired, which acts as a consultant to UK corporates says its 2016 group revenues are expected to be around 40 per cent ahead of 2015’s figure of £15.19m.
Its procurement corporate order book stood at £28m – which represents year end growth of 14 per cent.The group also says that trading remained strong throughout 2016 – a trend which has continued into the start of the new financial year.
Following the acquisition of Informed Business Solutions in September, net debt is expected to be approximately £10.8m at the year end.Inspired Energy founder and chief executive Janet Thornton said: “Inspired had a very strong 2016 in which the business delivered on its stated growth strategy.
“I am delighted that we have been able to conclude and integrate all three acquisitions completed over 2015 and 2016 whilst simultaneously delivering on our organic growth targets. “We continue to seek out attractive acquisitions and I am confident that 2017 will be another year of positive growth for Inspired.”
