Blackpool's BLVD Hotel has appointed Philip Gahrmann as executive assistant manager.
Philip holds 20 years of experience, having worked with hotels from across the world including Crown Plaza, Mandarin Oriental Hotel and the Four Seasons Hotel in London, the five-star country estate Gleneagles in Scotland, Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington DC, USA and Four Seasons Hotel in Silicon Valley CA, USA.
He also holds multiple academic accreditations including an Associate Degree in Hospitality Management from Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, Switzerland and a Bachelors’ Degree in Business majoring in Marketing from Southern Cross University, Lismore Australia.
At BLVD, his key role will be to grow the food and beverage component of the hotel and support in managing the daily workings of the hotel, developing the team and hotel services, and ensuring exceptional guest services.
Philip said: “After working across a hugely diverse range of hotels all over the world, I am looking forward to bringing my skills to an already exceptional team of professionals.”
BLVD Hotel was established in 2019 and is located at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. It features 120 rooms for guests, as well as bespoke meeting rooms in The Shoreside Conference Centre.
