Fizz, champagne and red wine were the order of the evening for clients of a Colne financial adviser practice, celebrating 10 years in business.
The wine tasting event at Turners Wine Bar, Barrowford, proved a huge success for Indigo Financial Advice Ltd who took over the popular village haunt for the night.Director Darren Turner said: “The wine tasting marked the first of several celebrations for our decade in business and gave us the chance to enjoy downtime with clients; some of whom we have worked with since the company began.
“Everyone really got in the spirit of the event and we witnessed a few connoisseurs among our party of 55. I know which ones I’ll be seeking wine choice advice from in future!”The evening’s festivities began with a champagne challenge, followed by Darren’s White Wine Challenge and ending with the Big Red Challenge and platters of sharing food.
A raffle was held to raise money for Pendleside Hospice, with top prizes of Boundary Mill vouchers and wine vouchers to spend at Turners, raising nearly £300 on the night.Next on the agenda for Indigo is a set of 10 challenges to be shared out amongst the team. Asking clients to provide them with activities that staff can get involved in over the next 12 months has already materialised in suggestions of bell-ringing, ballroom dancing and pot-holing. Darren added: “Who knows what is up for discussion at the moment, but we’re certain we’ll have a lot of funny stories to share throughout the year!”
