A Colne financial adviser practice is to celebrate 10 years in business this month by giving a little something back to its loyal clients.
Indigo Financial Advice has represented a broad spectrum of private and business clients throughout the decade, specialising in retirement advice and wealth management. As such, the company has invited them to celebrate this milestone event at a wine tasting evening at Turners Wine Bar, Barrowford, in April.
Director Darren Turner said: “We’re in regular contact with clients and have got to know a lot of them very well over the years, so we thought it only fitting to say thank you to them as we approach our 10th birthday.”Darren, a keen mountain biker and snowboarder, has also challenged clients to provide Indigo with 10 activities that staff can get involved in over the next 12 months.
He said: “We have a client who flies a light aircraft and he keeps asking me to go up with him; it got me thinking about hobbies which other clients may have that we could get involved in, so we’ve asked the question and are looking forward to the results. Other offers so far include bell-ringing, ball-room dancing and pot-holing!”“I have bowed out of the flying from the very start but maybe this year’s the time to embrace new challenges. Hopefully other members of the team are up for it, so let’s see what else our clients can throw at us!
“Don’t be fooled that retirement is all about knitting and gardening!” As keen fundraisers for Pendleside Hospice, a raffle will be held on the night in aid of this local cause.
