A new brand for co-ordinated interior design has been launched to a global audience by Preston-based SMD Textiles.
The new range - described as the ‘magical secret formula’ for the home makeover - attracted visitors to the stand from 41 different countries and created widespread excitement.
SMD Textiles managing director Jason Kenworthy said: “We have kept the iLiv brand quite understated so far because it is so unusual and we wanted to make an impact at the show, but we can now say it is well and truly launched and in demand.
The iLiv family includes the distinctive collections of Fjord for the Scandinavian look, the shimmering textures of Palladio, the artistic floral Piazza, flamboyant Adara, Charlton for sumptuous fabrics, the lustrous colours of Elements, the In Bloom floral prints and the delicate Shabby Chic. The children’s ranges are themed on pirates for boys and a treehouse for girls.
The Aquitane collection, inspired by the elegant and classical styling of regions in France, comprises Toile style floral prints, luxurious jacquards, classic cotton stripes, a woven trellis and a co-ordinating diamond, satin effect plain.
