It's a twin thing: Chorley-based full service graphic design, digital and website agency Iced has appointed a new account manager and added another graphic designer to its growing team.

A media, marketing and cultural studies graduate, Alex has over 20 years’ experience; formerly a marketing and design manager for leading national pneumatics and hydraulics firm Tom Parker Ltd.

Joining the team at Iced, as a graphic designer, is Rachael Smith. Rachael has always been passionate about creativity; studying graphics at Carlisle University after excelling in art at high school. Landing her first role as a fresh graduate, she previously worked at The Design Attic in Morecambe.

She particularly relishes challenging briefs, meeting clients, discussing their vision and bringing projects to life. Describing herself as a chatterbox and full of energy; in her spare time Rachael is a keen thrill-seeker enjoying mountaineering, mountain biking and paddle-boarding.

Alex comments: “We felt, after years of taking about it, that it was the perfect time to join forces and offer a full-service agency to our clients. Our marketing services have already proven popular and we are really pleased to see the benefits to our customers.

Rachael comments: “When I first visited Iced, I knew I wanted to work there. Not only are the team talented, friendly and welcoming; they have such a wide variety of clients and projects.”

A creative, friendly, hardworking bunch

He comments: “We are pleased to welcome Alex and Rachael to our expanding team. We have seen a rapid growth since locating in Chorley town centre five years ago and are proud to have built up such a loyal customer base. We work with a lot of local companies including being the official graphics partner of Chorley F.C., Totally Locally Chorley Campaign and Chorley Council."

"We want people to come back to us with future projects and refer us on. We have a 99% client retention rate (we’ve only lost Jodie Marsh who got a new Manager and wanted to move her website to a local company in Essex) and although we do softly market ourselves; we are proud that most of our business is secured through word of mouth referrals."

The team at Iced are a friendly, committed and talented bunch with specialisms across all key areas of design, a broad range of experience across many sectors and a passion for creativity. They believe that innovative, creative and eye-catching design gets your brand noticed by the right people. The expert design team at Iced deliver high-quality work, at competitive prices and can meet the tightest of deadlines. For a no obligation chat about what Iced can do for you, please visit the team at their office on George Street, Chorley, call 01257 543503, email [email protected] or visit www.icedgraphics.com for further details.
