More than 1,700 businesses visited Lancashire Business Expo, the region’s largest B2B exhibition at UCLan’s Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre.
Lancashire Business Expo (LBE) is business event organiser Shout Expo’s longest running exhibition. The first LBE took place in 2015. Around 150 exhibitors welcomed visitors from across the North West and beyond with unique and interactive exhibition stands that promoted a diverse range of products and services.
Lancashire Business Expo always inspires exhibitors to come up with eye-catching and interactive promotional displays that draw attention and instigate conversations that lead to valuable new business connections. #LBE2024 was no exception.
The University of Central Lancashire hosted this year’s Lancashire Business Expo in the Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre. All previous Lancashire Business Expos have taken place at Preston Guild Hall, but in September 2023 Preston City Council were notified of the possible presence of Reinforced Aerated Autoclave Concrete (RAAC) at the site. Shout Expo therefore immediately decided to move the event to UCLan.
Unique to this Shout Expo exhibition, UCLan invited visitors to attend their ‘TED Talks’ on business growth and support. Exhibition stands included NetDec and their racetrack, Stone Create's coconut shy and Preston Caribbean Carnival's hit attraction - a 360 video booth.
Jordan Conlin, director of Shout Expo, said: “We were delighted with how well the new venue worked out for this year’s Lancashire Business Expo. UCLan really looked after us and the event was just as busy as usual, if not more so.
"The LBE exhibition stands never fail to impress, and there was a real buzz in the exhibition hall. We’ve had fantastic feedback from both exhibitors and visitors, and we’re now even more fired up for our next event which is the Liverpool City Region Business Expo in June!"
