HSBC has appointed Tony Fulton to the key role of head of corporate banking for Lancashire, Cumbria & Northern Ireland.
Based at HSBC’s Commercial Centres in Preston, Carlisle and Belfast, Tony will focus on supporting businesses with a turnover between £6.5m and £350m, in addition to ensuring that HSBC continues to meet the needs of its commercial clients.Tony has been with HSBC since 2013 and moves to Lancashire from a similar role covering the Liverpool, Cheshire, North Wales & North Staffordshire areas. He takes over the position from Jason Gledhill, who is moving to a new senior position within HSBC.
Tony has over 35 years’ experience in the banking industry in the North of England and prior to joining HSBC was with Barclays and Santander in Manchester. Tony’s varied career has seen him undertake roles in Branch Management, Retail, Commercial and Corporate Banking.HSBC’s Lancashire and Cumbria Commercial division boasts a significant team of Commercial, Corporate, Agricultural and Local Business Managers with both domestic and international focus.
