Community & Business Partners has welcomed a new co-sponsor for the next edition of its biannual North West HR Employers Forum – the popular half-day event which is specially curated to help HR practitioners and business leaders to stay at the forefront of current trends in HR and People.
Co-Creation Group, a Manchester-based leadership and management specialist, is co-sponsoring the event for the first time, in addition to recently becoming a Community & Business Partners Member.
Rebecca Stevens, Co-creation Group’s FHOCAL™ programme director will join the speaker panel to lead an interactive session on how to create a change positive culture, drawing on the businesses’ FHOCAL™ model for change management.
Dave Harrison, managing director of Co-Creation Group said: “We are thrilled to be co-sponsoring the North West HR Employers Forum, and helping to shout about the North West as a major employer. It is a fantastic event and we are excited to share our human-centered approach to change through the FHOCAL™ model with delegates. We hope that they can walk away with some additional tools in their toolkit that can be used in their businesses straight away.
“We are also delighted to have joined the Community & Business Partners Membership. What we like about the organisation is that it provides business support, strengthening the businesses it works with, while also having a positive impact in the community. For us, the dual approach makes sense and is aligned to what we do as a company.”
Co-Creation Group joins long-term sponsor, award-winning law firm Forbes Solicitors who has supported the event for over 10 years.
Andrew Halpin, senior associate will be providing delegates with an employment law update, which will include information on the important post-Brexit employment law changes relating to the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill 2022.
Emma Swan, partner and head of commercial employment at Forbes said: “We have partnered with Community & Business Partners on the North West HR Forum for more than a decade. It is always a brilliant event, and we are thrilled to be able to support once again.
"For the next session, my colleague Andrew will be providing details on the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill following Brexit, which as it is currently drafted will automate revoke EU based employment law. Andrew will be explaining what this potentially means for the region’s employers. Andrew will also be on hand after the session with other members of Forbes specialist employment team, to help with any individual queries relating to the Bill or employment law in general.”
Community & Business Partners has also secured guest speaker, Lt Col Edward Fraser (Commanding Officer), 4th Battalion The Duke of Lancaster’s Regime. Lt Col Fraser commands around 500 Army Reserve soldiers and will be sharing more insights on the Reserves team.
Jaydee Davis, operations director at Community & Business Partners, said: “We’re excited to be bringing the HR Employers Forum back once again this December. As well as sharing best practice, the forum also offers attendees an excellent networking opportunity with business owners and HR practitioners who are ahead of the game in their field, it’s an event not to be missed."
“The event would not be possible without the support of our incredible sponsors. We’re delighted to have the support of Forbes Solicitors and to welcome Co-Creation Group as our newest sponsors.
