Home secretary visits Lingwood

Lingwood Security Management were very privileged to receive a visit from home secretary Theresa May.

Mrs May was joined by parliamentary candidate David Morris and took questions from the local press.

She was in town to visit Lingwood Security Management as she has a keen interest in the private security sector and in particular, counter-terrorism work, in which the company specialises. A spokesman said: "It was a great opportunity to show her the work our security teams are doing on the M6 link road, at the hospital and on other national projects. We also gave her a full briefing on the in-house training we offer, including our counter-terrorism course."
