Ribby Hall Village at Wrea Green has retained its Five Star Holiday Village status for the 12th year running following a recent assessment by Visit England.
The resort scored highly in all aspects of accommodation, facilities and grounds, and was commended for the continual investment which takes place year on year to develop and enhance guest experience.
Accommodation at Ribby Hall Village includes self-catering cottages, pine lodges and a collection of bespoke properties sleeping up to 14 guests with outdoor hot tubs.
Facilities include the award-winning Spa Hotel and The Health Club, as well as a number of eateries and entertainment venues.
Carole Pilling, accommodation manager at Ribby Hall Village, said: "We are constantly reinvesting profits back into the business with the aim of improving the holiday experience year on year. Most recently we have seen the renovation of four farm buildings into beautifully appointed holiday lets which will be available from the end of March."
In the last two years the village has also heavily invested in a new exclusive, lakeside holiday homes development, Reeds Bay.
