Hats off to two local businesses who joined forces to create a stunning setting for night-clubbers to revel in.
Chantelle Lighting, a bespoke lighting specialist based in Nelson, was approached by Illuminati, a bar in Burnley town centre, to provide the lighting for the refurbishment of the upstairs bar into a ‘Rock Room’.Lauren Holly, general manager at Chantelle Lighting said: “We’ve worked with Illuminati previously, providing industrial pendant lights for the bar downstairs, so when Tom, the owner, approached us with his design ideas, we had just the lighting to do the job.
“It’s always great when local businesses work together, and it’s fantastic to see Illuminati doing so well.“Lighting is key when it comes to setting the right mood and ambience for a bar, and the various pieces we provided work brilliantly with the Illuminati design.”
Illuminati aims to provide a city vibe close to home and Chantelle supplied its top hat pendant lights to adorn the bar. The hats are minimal, black with a gold inner, but combined with a traditional filament bulb they give the bar a nostalgic feel.“We had to turn the refurbishment around fast, but didn’t want to stray from our design ideas,” said Tom Lord, owner at Illuminati.
“We were particularly impressed with the lighting Chantelle created when we first opened, so we had no doubts about returning to them again; they’ve done a fantastic job, the Rock Room looks great!"Alongside the top hat lights, Chantelle supplied another product named Aether, a geometric pendant from its Elemental Range, which hangs in a cluster of three above the staircase.
