Commercial law firm Harrison Drury has expanded its Kendal office after moving to new premises in the centre of town.
The firm has relocated from offices on Mintsfeet Road North to Stramongate House, Stramongate, in a move which also sees director Naomi Fell return to the same office she worked in for 27 years in a previous role.Harrison Drury has leased two large ground floor offices of the building and will use its new base to advise business owners, entrepreneurs, commercial property owners, landowners and other high-net-worth individuals.
Naomi Fell, who heads up the firm’s Kendal office, said: “Coming back to the same office where I worked for so many years is like returning home after a long holiday, it feels slightly strange but great at the same time. This is good news for the firm because it puts us right at the heart of the town and gives us much more space to grow our team in Kendal.”John Chesworth, managing director at Harrison Drury, added: “Naomi has done tremendous work to build up our Kendal office from what was a standing start two years ago. Our ambition is to be the number one commercial law firm in the area and this move helps us to achieve that.”
Harrison Drury opened an office in Kendal at the beginning of 2013 to offer a full range of commercial legal services to businesses and individuals across Cumbria. Naomi, who previously worked for Hayton Winkley in the town, was chosen to head the office because of her track record and relationships in the region. Naomi is supported in Kendal by fellow director Jan Wright who leads the firm’s private client offering, specialising in wills, probate, trusts and estate planning. Naomi and Jan are also supported by a wide range of legal specialists from the firm’s three other North West offices in Lancaster, Garstang and Preston.
