Law firm Harrison Drury has appointed Clare Fleming as a director and head of its private client team.
Clare is an inheritance tax planning specialist with experience in the drafting of wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and the administration of trusts and estates, with particular expertise in commercial and high-net-worth estates.
In her new role, she will be responsible for the management of the firm’s private client team that is spread across its five regional offices.
Clare will be based in the company's Preston office, marking a return to the county after graduating from Lancaster University in 2001 before working for law firms in the south east for 15 years.
John Chesworth, executive chairman of Harrison Drury, said: "Clare brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the team. Our private client service is an important area of the business that we are keen to develop further in rural areas and I believe she is the ideal person to make it possible."
Clare added: "It’s wonderful to come back to the area where I studied nearly 20 years ago. Harrison Drury is a firm that’s deeply embedded in its local communities and that really appealed to me."
