Top performing salespeople from a Blackburn motor company are enjoying the fruits of their labour after winning a company incentive.
Each of the salesmen, from the Hippo Motor Group, Blackburn, managed to achieve margin sales targets over the past 12 months and their rewards will now be felt throughout the year.
The six qualifiers were Andrew Green, Jack Watson, Jess Horton, Jonathan Ashworth William Cairns and Tom Tuley.
All got a 20 per cent increase in salary while all will enjoy further perks of private healthcare, an invite to a VIP weekend in Mallorca, six free corporate tickets to an event at the Manchester Arena, two extra days’ holiday, invitation to the directors’ day out in December and senior account manager status within the business.
Rebecca Marsden, leasing sales manager, said: “This incentive is new to the business and really gives the team the opportunity to strive to ensure we are giving our customers an excellent level of service, which in turn means we hit our company objectives.”
“Everyone worked hard towards the target throughout the year and it was fantastic for me to be able to announce our six winners.
“We’re running the same incentive again this year, so it gives other members of the team a chance to enjoy the same benefits in 2020.”
Andrew Green, 35, of Darwen, has been with company five years. He said: “I’m really pleased to have won, I knew straight away that I wanted to go for it but that it would be hard to maintain figures for a full year, but I did! It’s a real sense of achievement.”
Jess Horton, 31, from Thornton-in-Cleveleys, had only been with the business three weeks when the incentive was launched.
He said: “I’d never heard of such a good incentive before and made it my mission to hit the ground running and achieve target. I’m really chuffed at what I’ve achieved and looking forward to the holiday!”
