Oldham’s Glo Gym has announced the appointment of Happy Creative as its marketing partner to support its growth.
Located in the North Stand at Boundary Park, the new owners have invested £500,000 bringing in the latest gym equipment and creating a revamped look. They have appointed Happy Creative to support their rapid growth, raise their visibility, build their brand and increase memberships.
Happy will support Ross Gallagher, gym manager, and his team with focused, joined-up marketing beginning with a marketing plan. Marketing activity will include social media management, social graphics, gifs, video production, animation, content creation, updating the website with new content as well as offline activity.
Commenting on the new partnership, Ross said: “We’ve invested £500,000 in the refurb which includes some of the latest Matrix equipment available anywhere, and with more than 40 classes, personal trainers, and virtual Les Mills classes we have a very strong member offer. Happy have a real understanding of our sector and importantly, how to attract and retain members. We’re already seeing record-breaking new member acquisition rates.”
Karen Lambert, Chief Happy, said “The role exercise plays in maintaining health and wellbeing makes this a particularly aligned partnership. Regular exercise boosts self-esteem, mood, sleep quality and energy, and helps reduce stress and anxiety.
"This fits perfectly with our support of the Global Goals, specifically #SDG3 Good Health and Wellbeing. We’re absolutely delighted to be working with Ross and his team and to be able to play our part in promoting good health and wellbeing in our communities.”
