Blackpool-based full service agency Happy Creative has begun work with the North West’s largest independent Black and Minority ethnic housing association.
With more than 25 years’ experience, Arawak Walton Housing Association (AWHA) has a proud heritage in helping to create vibrant and sustainable multicultural neighbourhoods in inner city areas.Following a tendering process, Happy Creative was chosen as the preferred agency to carry out a full re-design and re-build of Arawak’s current website.
Arawak Walton is just one of a number of new client wins Happy have welcomed to their growing portfolio over the last few months. As part of the web design, Happy’s in-house photographer spent a day at Arawak Walton’s headquarters to capture the businesses International Day with a series of striking images which will be used on the new website, which is due to launch later this year.
Arawak Walton was formed following the merger of Arawak and Walton Housing associations. Arawak is named after the Arawak Indians who travelled from their homes in South America to the Caribbean islands and who are symbolised on Jamaica’s coat of arms, and was set up to satisfy the needs of the maturing African Caribbean Community. Walton Housing Association was set up in Whalley Range, to help the local African Caribbean community.Karen Lambert, managing director of Happy Creative, said: “We are delighted to welcome Arawak as a client to our creative agency.
