Blackpool’s most established and well-known shopping centre Houndshill have appointed Happy Creative as its marketing partner and will now be working together on its many high profile campaigns.
The 300,000 sq ft centre is home to 70 tenants with an abundance of high street brands and designer labels all ideally situated in the heart of the resort and will now be tapping into the design and web experience of fellow Fylde coast company Happy Creative.Houndshill Shopping Centre has been the driving force for retail in the resort since 1980 and underwent a £40m makeover in 2008.
The refurbishment secured a number of premier tenants including Debenhams, JD Sports and River Island. A new business plan was created in 2012 with an aim to introduce high end fashion retailers Tessuti x Scotts, Jack & Jones & Footasylum. The food court was completely refurbished and CPL brought brands Burger King, Roosters and El Taco Loco to the scheme. Ed’s Diner and Prezzo are the latest food and beverage outlets to take a position in the scheme and there are further plans to promote Victoria Street for A3 operators.Debbs Lancelott, centre manager at Houndshill, said: “We were looking for a company who are modern and contemporary who we are able to create a new and exciting concept to represent the Houndshill brand as it is today.
