US company Gorilla Glue has contracted Preston-based Lifeline Language Services to assist with their export success in the European market.
With a European HQ in Chorley, Gorilla Glue has been selling high quality glue and tape products in the UK for nearly a decade. To ensure the rigorous quality standards of multi-lingual packaging distributed into eight European territories, Lifeline is now providing Gorilla Glue with translation and proofreading of its packaging into Danish, Finnish, French, German, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish.
Gorilla Glue Europe’s Marketing Manager Jake Witherington said: “Selling technical products into multiple countries, we need to take packaging translation seriously. Packaging is the front line, where a potential customer’s first impression is formed and so top quality translation is essential to showcase our products to our customers. Otherwise we could have the best products in the world and no-one would buy them.”“We are pleased to be working with Lifeline, a local company with a global outlook who we can trust. We hope that this is only the beginning of a long working relationship for Gorilla Glue and Lifeline.”
Established for over 25 years, Lifeline provides a full range of language services including translation, interpretation, voiceover, multilingual typesetting and subtitling to clients throughout the UK and around the world. With 11 staff at offices in Preston city centre, the company maintains a team of approximately 3,500 freelance linguists worldwide covering over 150 languages. Lifeline’s Operations Manager Jenny Bryce says: “Good translation is the keystone of success in the export market. Gorilla Glue is a great example of how working closely with your language service provider can help you to achieve translations that suit your company’s products and personality.”Enjoyed this?
