For the second year running Blackpool-based training provider Beneast is to hold its Future Generations event.
It is aiming to get 100 young apprentices into 100 jobs on 100 days when the campaign launches on February 8.
Footballing legend Sir Geoff Hurst will launch the campaign at a lunch at the resort’s Hilton Hotel between 12.30 and 4pm.
The prestigious event is supported by leading organisations drawn from across Lancashire but Beneast need Lancashire businesses to get involved.
Sara Gaskell, business development manager at Beneast, said: “Future Generations 2011 is aimed solely at Employers who would contemplate taking on an apprentice.
“As you know our mission is to create 100 new Apprenticeships in 100 Days and as such we’d like to welcome as many employers that fit our requirement.
“We would be grateful if you would send details about our event to your email database. “
If they feel they can support our mission, they are certainly welcome to attend. They simply need to click on the link to register and we’ll do the rest.”
