Via Training has secured funding from the European Social Fund (ESF) to deliver the Skills Support For The Workforce programme in Lancashire.
The project aims to support SMEs and their employees across the county. Via will work with employers providing free training needs analysis and funded training for its priority sectors, Health & Social Care and the Visitor Economy.Rebecca Lynch, Via Training says : “By upskilling the workforce we aim to increase the employability prospects of employees and reduce the risk of unemployment”.
To access this funding:• Individuals must be employed by SMEs which have fewer than 250 staff
• Individuals must be aged 19+• Employers must be based within Lancashire although there is particular focus on Blackburn with Darwen, Blackpool, Burnley, Chorley, Fylde, Hyndburn, Lancaster, Pendle, Preston, Ribble Valley, Rossendale, South Ribble, West Lancashire and Wyre areas
