A generous solicitors’ firm is supporting Age UK Lancashire with a free Will writing service this week.
For all simple Will instructions received from Monday, March 22nd to Friday, March 26th inclusive Alexander Grace Law will carry out the work free of charge, in exchange for donation to the charity.
Jessica Turton, solicitor at Alexander Grace Law, said: “The coronavirus pandemic has thrown up a number of uncertainties for us all and we’re all more anxious about what the future holds for ourselves and our loved ones.
“Although it isn’t always a topic at the forefront of our minds, leaving a Will makes things easier for your loved ones and also provides you with peace of mind that your assets will pass in accordance with your wishes.
“In normal circumstances we would love to offer drop-ins at Age UK Lancashire’s local outlets, but due to Covid-19 government guidelines we are unable to conduct face-to-face meetings at the moment. We are however still able to take instructions via telephone, email or video conferencing and ask people to let us know if they have any special requirements.
“Although the circumstances surrounding pandemic are making everything a little more challenging for us all, it’s still possible to make a new Will and we are here to guide you through that process.”
David Ward, promotions manager at Age UK Lancashire, said: “We’re really grateful to Alexander Grace Law for supporting our charity with their generous donation of support for our many clients across the county.
“We too recognise the importance of preparing a Will and campaigns such as this really do help raise awareness within the area.”
For those wishing to take advantage of this offer, the suggested minimum donation is £100 per Will. In exchange for your donation, we will prepare your new Will free of charge.
