Businesses across Lancashire are set to benefit from free support offered by the University of Central Lancashire’s Innovation Clinic.
A two-part workshop is being held on May 17 and May 24 to provide businesses with the knowledge required for successful new product development.Taking place at the University’s Burnley campus, it will cover the stages of new product innovation, product design, research and development, funding and routes to finance, how to develop a launch strategy, marketing, branding and bringing products to market.
UCLan’s Innovation Clinic is part of Boost Business Lancashire and is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund. It helps businesses to grow through innovation and new product development.Iain Martin, project manager at UCLan, said: “Innovation and product development is an integral aspect of achieving business success, but it takes more than just a good idea. You need a proper strategy in place to support, and these workshops will equip businesses with the insight required to achieve success and grow.” For more information and to book a place, contact Heather Widdup on 01772 894090 or email [email protected].
