Four Recruitment has launched a new specialist supply chain division which will be headed by new recruit Katy Stephens.
Katy has experience working in supply chain and logistics management working for global brands such as Coca Cola and more recently Vimto, where she worked as part of the management team across the demand and logistics functions.
Claire Sofield, managing director at Four Recruitment, said: "Katy had the appetite for a career change but the desire to still be able to apply the knowledge and expertise she has gained over the last 13 years.
"We met over a coffee and I was instantly impressed with her sector knowledge, customer focussed approach and her instant engagement and ability to build a rapport – which is key in what we do. Her knowledge will really benefit her in role, as she will be able to understand with complete clarity the clients and candidates she is working with."
The Supply Chain division will recruit a variety of roles within the sector from supply chain and logistics directors to supply chain managers and team leaders. The division is already working with a number of leading names.
Katy said: "Having spent my entire career since graduating from university in numerous roles across supply chain, I see this as a fantastic opportunity for a career transformation and to really bring my knowledge and skillset to launch this new division for Four.
"I have faced the many challenges that the sector encounters and understand how, as a result of Covid-19, supply chains have come under more strain than ever and have had to be extremely reactive due to the huge volatility in the market.
"This volatility has put people, systems and processes under massive amounts of strain which means, as we move forward supply chains will be building back with more agility and resilience to future challenges. "I believe with my industry background I can really assist those who are looking for their next career move and with hiring managers in developing their talent management strategies."
