Forbes Solicitors has accepted nine new starters to its solicitor training programme.
They are: Andrea James, who currently works in the housing and regeneration team; Sabine Rodwell, a paralegal in the defendant insurance department; Mohammed Ismail, who works in mergers and acquisitions; Katie Lee, of the commercial department; Ammarah Shamim from the corporate team; Correy Fagan of the family department; Charlene Hamilton, who works in the housing and regeneration department; Joanne Higham from the commercial property department; and Alice McKenna, who assists the social services and abuse claims team.
The appointments double the number of trainees on the scheme to 18.
Pauline Rigby, partner and Forbes’ training principal, said: “To have 18 people who want to thrive by working in a team where they live and breathe ideas and who are trusting us with their future career development in this way is fantastic.
“This is one of the largest cohorts we have ever had across the firm and shows our continued commitment to investing in the future of the firm.”
