Lancashire headquartered law firm Forbes Solicitors has moved into new central Manchester offices to support its growth ambitions in the city.
The new office at 1 Balloon Street will provide a base for Forbes’ 26-strong team. The firm has been based in Church House on Deansgate since 2005.
The announcement comes on the back of news it has agreed a 10-year lease for four floors at Gordon House at Walton Summit, expanding its space from 8,000 sq ft to 32,000 sq ft to accommodate around 200 of the firm’s team.
Pauline Wild, managing partner at Forbes Solicitors, said: “The new office at Balloon Street shows our commitment to the Manchester market and providing the best possible facilities for our team and clients in the city.
“We’re looking forward to this next chapter as we continue to expand across our practice areas and support more organisations with their own success.”
A leading national law firm with a regional headquarters, Forbes has 10 offices across the UK.
The firm employs nearly 400 people and has 59 partners across a range of specialisms.
Forbes has made a number of significant hires into its Manchester team in recent years and says it will continue to build on these foundations.
It advises a wide range of Manchester clients ranging from entrepreneur-led businesses such as Cress, a sustainable children’s clothing brand and Northcoders plc, a multi award winning provider of coding bootcamps, to a number of local authorities across the city region.
