Forbes Solicitors has promoted Pauline Rigby, an employee of the firm for more than 20 years, to the role of managing partner.
Pauline, who joined the Blackburn-based firm as a trainee, succeeds Daniel King who will remain within the executive leadership team.
In her new role, Pauline will be instrumental in the delivery of the strategic direction of the firm, working with chief executive Oliver Burton, and will retain a focus on nurturing and supporting the organisation's talent.
Forbes has also expanded its executive team, with partners Jonathan Holden and Stuart Penswick joining the executive board alongside chief executive Oliver Burton and with Mike Bentham, finance director.
Oliver Burton, CEO at Forbes Solicitors, added: “Pauline, Jonathan and Stuart have all proven their leadership capabilities by successfully leading large teams, as well as continuing to advise and support clients within their respective areas of the firm."
