Chartered accountants NR Barton are moving to state-of-the-art offices at Waterside House at Wigan Pier Business Park after spending 50 years at their current offices in Bridgeman Terrace, Wigan.
Paul Farrington, partner at NR Barton, said: “During the past five decades, our office has successfully grown with our team and we’ve finally got to the inevitable point where this is no longer practical. Waterside House provides us with a larger open-plan space, which is much more suited to teamwork and provides potential for our ongoing development and expansion.
“The new offices are perfectly located to service clients across Wigan, Lancashire and the North West, and it’s exciting to have such a modern and fresh space for our team to work in and to meet people. We’re a firm with a rich heritage in the region and a bright future and our new office move really reflects this.”
Established in 1948, NR Barton offers Business Advisory, Audit and Assurance, Outsourcing, and Tax Services to businesses and individuals across Lancashire and the North West.
Helen Marsh, a partner in Forbes Solicitors’ commercial property team, acted on the deal. She commented: “In recent months, many businesses have taken a step back to consider the suitability of their working environments and with working from home, there’s been plenty of discussion about the future of the office. NR Barton is an impressive and ambitious business and sees a fit-for-purpose, cutting edge office space as an integral part of their growth plans.”
