Lancashire law firm Farleys Solicitors have extended their sponsorship of Accrington Stanley’s Clayton End, in a signal to the firm’s long-term commitment to the club, its fans and the local community.
The deal will see the firm continue its sponsorship through to the end of the 22/23 football season, with the Farleys Solicitors Stand poised to welcome back the club’s loyal fans and fellow commercial partners as the restrictions are eased regarding live sport attendance.
Practicing legal excellence for over 60 years, Farleys are a full-service law firm with offices in Accrington, Blackburn, Burnley, Manchester and Preston and specialise in all aspects of private and commercial law.
Ian Liddle, partner at Farleys Solicitors, said: “As a firm with a strong heritage in Lancashire, Farleys Solicitors are delighted to continue our sponsorship of Accrington Stanley’s famous Clayton End.
“Accrington Stanley are a true community-based club, who, like many others have been hit significantly by the effects of the pandemic. We are pleased to be in a position where we can continue to support the club, its fans and the local community as a continuation of our thanks to those who continue to support our business.
“Whilst we are sorry that no fans have been able to cheer on the team from our Farleys Solicitors Stand for the last year, we look forward to welcoming everyone back as soon as we can and hope to be enjoying many more ‘Winners Hours’ with supporters over the next few years.”
Daniel Bowerbank, commercial manager, added: “Over the last 12 months like many businesses we have missed our superb clayton end noise in the Farleys Solicitors Stand. Throughout Covid-19, finances on businesses have been impacted significantly and we are grateful of Farleys Solicitors’ commitment to extending their agreement with us during this time.
“As a local business our proud stand sponsors have been superb and have reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Accrington Stanley off the field by signing off on a new two-year deal. We look forward to working with Reta, Ian, Tom, Stephen and all the team from Farleys over the next two years and hopefully seeing the Farleys Solicitors stand rocking in the very near future.”
