Burnley-based financial planners and insurance brokers, Financial Affairs continue on their £10 million in 10 year growth journey and have recently structured their team following their ambitious people development strategy.
Stepping into the role of managing director will be Alan Walsh, a fellow of the Personal Finance Society and a Chartered Financial Planner. Alan has helped shape the culture and heartbeat of Financial Affairs.
“Alan is a natural leader and will be a fantastic MD to help run the day to day of the business and allow me to concentrate on growing the business through acquisitions,” explains Laurence O’Connor, newly appointed CEO at Financial Affairs.
“He is an extended member of our family and he is well respected within the sector. This will be an exciting new step for him and I look forward to seeing him excel in his new role.”
This new role will see Alan joining the board of directors together with Laurence and his brother, Gavin, creating a strong leadership to keep driving the business forward. Other promotions have also been made internally, with; Jackie Hartley taking on the role of Head of Broking & Support on the insurance team.Rebecca Morrison embarking on her development as Head of Paraplanning & Support in Financial Planning.Ash King being promoted to Head of Financial Planning.All these internal changes result in an ambitious and motivated management team gearing up for further growth in the near future.
