Skelmersdale-based Erlson Precision Components has acquired Turbotech Precision Products and PI Castings, which together will become the Erlson Group.
Erlson Precision Components provides ultra-precision machined products to the global automotive, hydraulic, marine and powertrain industries and also has three facilities in Lancashire.
PI Castings was founded in 1950 and employs 80 staff. It is one of the longest established manufacturers of investment castings in Europe. It operates in the aerospace, oil and gas, medical, automotive, rail and marine industries.
