Eric Wright Civil Engineering (EWCE), part of the Eric Wright Group, has been appointed to three local authority frameworks and has already secured projects totalling more than £2m as a result.
EWCE has already secured three framework projects for Bolton with a combined value of £1m, involving two re-surfacing schemes and a cycle path renewal contract.
Completing its hat trick of appointments, EWCE has also secured a place on a four-year Lancashire County Council framework for civils improvements to schools and public buildings valued between £25,000 and £150,000. The company has so far been awarded two projects involving car park improvements at primary schools.
“We have been particularly successful with local authority frameworks and have 12 currently in place with councils including Cheshire East, Manchester, Bradford and Blackburn with Darwen. “It’s an approach that works for EWCE from a business planning and recruitment point of view and one that is clearly also increasingly a preferred procurement route for the public sector, so we envisage further framework appointments over the course of the year.”
