Preston-based Eric Wright Construction, a division of leading construction, civil engineering and property development firm, the Eric Wright Group, has finished work on the new £24m, state-of-the-art stadium and surrounding activity complex, Allianz Park, home of Saracens rugby club.
The first fixture at the new 10,000 seater stadium took place against Exeter Chiefs on February 16 this year.
The multi-sport venue, which is supported by Sport England, the Rugby Football Union and UK Athletics, will be used for community sport for 340 days of the year for club and elite athletics and Premiership rugby. It will also provide a shot putt throw area, cross-country routes, triple and long-jump areas, indoor cricket nets, and studios for martial arts and dance classes.
