Running from 25 March - 2 April 2017, English Tourism Week celebrates the vibrancy and quality of England’s visitor experiences and our world-renowned tourist attractions.
During the week there will be a wide variety of local and national events, discounts and special offers being made available by tourism businesses around the country including museum events, exhibitions, sports and unique experiences.Lancashire attracts over 64million visitors a year and contribute £3.8billion to the local economy. The tourism industry is one of the few sectors active in every part of the county and is the third largest employer; in Lancashire alone it supports over 56,000 jobs.
