A new trade counter proved a welcome addition for a Burnley company, as it held a launch afternoon to showcase its new offering.
Eyre & Ellison, an electrical wholesaler, has renovated its office and added a modern trade counter after a much needed update.Luke Hodson, branch manager, said: “Moving forward with the times is something we believe is very important, so the addition of the new counter allows us to increase add-on sales on commodity products and also create a universal platform for customers.
“In an age where people can easily log on to their phone to price match, we can not only compete with this, but also offer something a little extra.”Luke and his team organised an official launch, inviting a number of local customers including Rosewood Electrical, Northern Lights, H&D Electrical and Taylor Electrical and Mechanical Services to visit the shop, wander around and speak to the staff, as well as enjoying a complementary pie and a pint, the ale provided by Moorhouses Brewery across the road.
The event was a huge success; customers were really positive and are already looking forward to the next one.Sponsors included JCC Lighting, Moorhouses, Deltech and Elnur to name a few.
Luke added: “The addition of the new counter is something we’re really proud of; it allows us to showcase new products, meaning the counter is always fresh and up to date.“We’ve already received lots of positive feedback, and the turnout at the launch shows that customers are behind us, and ready to get on board with new, innovative ideas. “Eyre and Elliston is a forward thinking wholesaler, with traditional values; an ethos we’re really keen to sustain.”
