Edwards joins Handelsbanken

David Edwards has been appointed branch manager of Handelsbanken Blackburn.

David spent the last four years as head of the Manchester Spinningfields branch and returns to the town where his career began 33 years ago.

He said: “In the two years the Blackburn branch has been open, many local people and businesses have enjoyed our way of working and I look forward to helping this continue.”

Handelsbanken recently announced its 2011 results, with a 31 per cent increase in lending to individuals and corporate customers, taking its UK total lending to £8.5billion.

David formally takes the reigns on March 1.
