Local Blackburn web development agency, eBusiness UK is reaping the benefits of championing apprenticeships.
Chris Brett who works within the company’s ecommerce division has recently completed his level three diploma in IT with the North Lancs Training Group, supported by eBusiness UK. Chris began the course in January 2015; after leaving college he wanted expertise in the field and to gain a higher qualification without the substantial debt that surrounds a University course.
Chris has had regular meetings on site with his mentor Martin Stuart from the NLTG throughout the duration of the course, enabling him to continue his ecommerce multi-channel work alongside gaining credits towards his diploma. “It’s been a great experience; I’ve enjoyed learning new skills at work whilst knowing it’s helping towards my IT qualification. eBusinessUK have been incredibly supportive throughout my course”. Chris’ colleague, Chris Fitzgerald is only a few months away from completing his apprenticeship and will also receive a level three diploma in IT from the North Lancs Training Group. Nasir Kothia, Managing Director of eBusiness UK, said “Chris is a vital part of the team and we’ve encouraged him to pursue his diploma. eBusiness UK believes employing apprentices is a fantastic way of gaining crucial hands on experience whilst earning a qualification.”
