eBusiness UK helps gaming supplier increase traffic by more than 500%

eBusiness UK has helped a fellow Lancashire business increase traffic to its website by 538% over 12 months.

Blackburn-based eBusiness UK implemented a new search engine optimisation strategy for 4Gamers.net, which produces officially licensed products for PlayStation systems, and its sister site StealthGaming.net, which produces accessories for platforms including the XBox One and Nintendo Switch.

Over the last 12 months, both websites increased levels of traffic across the board, including visitors originating from organic searches, email campaigns and social media. The success to date, which has seen traffic at 4Gamers increase by more than 500% as well as trebling at StealthGaming, has even enabled the company to begin trading in new countries.

The company began selling its equipment in Australia and the Middle East last year, and has already seen impressive demand and sales in both markets so far.

eBusiness UK began with a keyword analysis, identifying where the sites were strong, and where there were opportunities to improve. Once implemented, the sites soon began ranking better on key search engines such as Google, in turn attracted more customers.

The sites were then in a great position to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the coronavirus lockdown. With more time to dedicate to their hobbies, customers flocked online to find improvements and upgrades for their gaming systems. As 4Gamers and StealthGaming were already ranking highly, they became one of the first places shoppers would visit.

Latif Kothia, director of eBusiness UK explained: “These two businesses produce fantastic products and with our guidance and specialist SEO services they have been able to dramatically improve their visibility online. When the lockdown began, they were already in prime position to be easily found by new customers.

“Traffic had already improved greatly over the months but the two sites have really capitalised on the lockdown and the increased numbers of gamers looking to buy premium accessories.”

Marc Pogorzelec, the company’s product marketing manager, said: “eBusiness has been fantastic to work with. We have a long-standing relationship with them but as consoles come and go and we introduce new ranges, we have needed to refresh our marketing campaigns.

“The great thing about eBusiness UK is that they have worked closely with us and have taken on board our ideas, which has made the campaigns all the more effective. By working in partnership with us they have been able to deliver exactly what was required, all within our budget.”
