eBusiness UK joined in the celebrations as local magazine Lancashire Business View marked its 100th edition in print – and managing director Kam Kothia was invited to speak at the anniversary event.
Lancashire Business View was launched in 2005 to promote the red rose county through sharing news, advice and opinion about, and of interest to, local organisations.
eBusiness UK has featured within its pages many times from the earliest issues and throughout the years. As well as reporting on our successes, from major contract wins to our record-breaking years, our team has been called upon to contribute expertise and advice on a range of topics, from successfully trading online to the complexities of running a family business.
As a regular contributor, Kam Kothia was one of the expert panelists at the magazine’s special 100th edition event held at Samlesbury Hall. Alongside other guests, including Edwin Booth, chairman of Booths, Mo Isap of IN4 Group and What More UK director Tony Grimshaw, he discussed the future of Lancashire and how the county can capitalise on its strengths.
On the 100th edition, Kam said: “Richard Slater launched Lancashire Business View when eBusiness UK was still very new itself. Our organisations have crossed paths many times, and as individuals we have become good friends who keep in touch regularly.
“The magazine has become an important part of the Lancashire ecosystem. By sharing good news, inspiring important debates and backing and creating important campaigns, it has become the go-to publication to learn about the county, and is unrivalled in the way it can bring everyone together to work towards a common cause.”
Kam added: “On a personal note, I am delighted for Richard. I’m extremely proud of him and his team for reaching this landmark and am looking forward to seeing what the future holds for the publication.”
