The tasty treats will be handed out through the company’s high street stores as part of its pre-Christmas promotion.
Eat My Logo’s previous largest order was 13,500 branded brownies which were baked to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the NHS earlier this year.Andrew Poar, who founded the company with wife Ruth, said that while the order was a welcome one, the required volume presented its own challenges.
He explained: “This order really tested us as it came to us at short notice and was way beyond anything we have done before.“Our fantastic team rose to the challenge and with the help four temporary staff we got the order out ahead of schedule.”
Richard Slater, publisher of Lancashire Business View and organiser of the Red Rose Awards, said: “It is fantastic to see this young firm grow from strength to strength.“Eat My Logo was just a few years old when it won its first Red Rose Award in 2016, but had already secured a number of contracts with major companies, including fulfilling a UK-wide order from the owners of Crown Paints.”
Since winning two Red Rose Awards in 2016, Eat My Logo has grown rapidly and now operates from a 3,500 sq ft bakery in Chorley.Richard added: “This latest order shows what Eat My Logo is capable of and is another great example of the range of excellent businesses to be found here in Lancashire.” The team’s 14 employees manufacture a wide range of baked edible promotional merchandise that is sent to business customers across the UK and Ireland to promote their brands in a fun and tasty way.
