It was a roaring success for The East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce ‘Hooray for Hollywood’ Annual Chamber Ball on Friday 22nd October. An evening of red carpets, glamour and sparkle, the event – held at the spectacular Crow Wood Hotel & Spa Resort - was a celebration of East Lancashire’s amazing business community.
The night championed their resilience in coming through such difficult times, supporting each other and their local Chamber of Commerce, whilst raising funds through a silent auction for the chosen charity of the night, the Community Foundation for Lancashire.
Three hundred glamourous guests dressed up to the nines to enjoy the Chamber’s first social evening in almost two years, with fabulous food and entertainment. They were joined by MPs from across East Lancashire, local council leaders and the Lancashire Enterprise Partnership (LEP) chair.
Guest speakers were Andrew Stephenson, minister of state for transport and MP for Pendle, and Karen Morris, development director for the Community Foundations for Lancashire & Merseyside.
Andrew Stephenson MP said: “East Lancashire Chamber is without doubt the finest chamber in the country”!
“Well we wouldn’t disagree,” says Miranda Barker, Chamber CEO, “but that does have so much to do with our amazing East Lancashire business community.”
From all at the Chamber, we’d like to extend a huge thank you to our staff, sponsors, partners and of course our members for making it the most magical night!
