There seems to be no stopping the rise of e-commerce and Lancashire logistics experts are playing their part in its continuing successful delivery.
In May, UK ecommerce had grown by 25 per cent year-on-year, with sales on Amazon growing by 93 per cent over the same period.
The pandemic has increased the demand for quick, efficient logistics services that meet the needs of the online customer. And businesses in the county are well-placed to take advantage, both geographically and through the use of cutting-edge technology.
Jamie Keen is managing director of Preston-based commercial trucking, haulage and courier services company Forge Logistics, which holds contracts with some of the UK’s largest e-commerce and delivery companies.
