Nick Dearing, a solicitor with Burnley-based DRN, has completed the challenging process to qualify as a notary public, an internationally recognised public office.
He has applied to be admitted as a notary to the Archbishop of Canterbury, whose office is responsible for the notarial profession in England and Wales, and expects that to be completed in the near future.
"Having access to a notary public is crucial for businesses operating internationally and we are delighted to now be able to service our international clients on a broader scale. A notary public can legalise documents for use in international trade such as Certificates of Incorporation, Articles of Association and Certificates of Good Standing."
