This outstanding total made DRN the sixth-highest fundraiser - out of the 42 businesses who took part.
Each year, businesses from across East Lancashire raise thousands of pounds for Pendleside Hospice by taking part in the Corporate Challenge. This year broke all records, with a huge £157,000 being raised for this well-loved local charity - smashing the target by tens of thousands of pounds.The event was attended by many local businesses including Burnley FC In the Community, Petty Estate Agents, Batch Brew, BCW Engineering, Root Fifty Two, Chess, Seriun and Slimming World. The law firm also supported the event by sponsoring the drinks reception.

Drinks were flowing, we raised thousands of pounds for charity and it was an opportunity to celebrate the great work Pendleside Hospice do in our community. A fantastic night was had by all.” DRN’s fundraising activities over the course of the 2018 competition included their popular “Uncork and Unwind” event at Tubbs of Colne, which raised more than £1,700 for Pendleside Hospice.
