Haslingden-based construction consultancy Driver Group has won two new contracts in Oman through its Muscat office.
The company has been commissioned by the Public Authority for Electricity and Water to provide consultancy and project management services over a five year period.
Oman’s Ministry of Transport and Communications has also enlisted the Driver Group to oversee work for the next 21 months on the Al Hadsbah to Al Hamra Roadway.
The new contracts, which are worth around £2.2m in total, follow work the Driver Group completed on Oman’s Muscat International and Salalah airports earlier this year.
Dave Webster, chief executive of the Driver Group, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded these contracts in Oman which we believe reflect the strength of our reputation and business in the country and are testament to management's focus on our core strengths in this region.”
Driver Group has offices throughout the UK as well as in Johannesburg in South Africa, Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Doha in Qatar and Muscat in Oman.
